The Department of Sports Training and Movement Sciences provides educational requirements to prepare qualified cadres to work in various sports institutions that meet the needs of the labor market, scientific research and community service through a set of courses that grant a bachelor's degree in physical education and a set of programs that grant a diploma, professional master's degree, master's degree and doctorate in sports training and movement sciences.
The main objective of the department:
- Preparing cadres of trainers to meet the needs and requirements of various sports institutions by developing the professional competence of workers in the field of sports training and paying attention to scientific research to develop the sports system. The Sports Training and Movement Sciences program includes a set of multiple programs starting from the bachelor's stage with its four levels, and the postgraduate program which includes: the specialized diploma program (specialization in sports training - specialization in movement science) and the professional master's program (physical trainer - sports training - training of young people) and the master's program (specialization in sports training - specialization in movement science), and the doctorate program (specialization in sports training - specialization in movement science), providing all beneficiaries (students in the undergraduate and graduate stages) with the necessary scientific and professional knowledge and abilities to prepare them to work efficiently as distinguished individuals in society in various jobs related to the sports field and movement sciences and preparing professional cadres with a scientific level and high quality according to recognized scientific standards that contribute to developing society and finding solutions to its problems.
