Department Vision
The department aspires to provide and support the requirements, competencies, educational, psychological and social programs that contribute to the distinguished educational and professional qualification and preparation of the college graduates and beneficiaries of its various educational programs (education - sports training - recreation - sports management),
with continuous and tangible evaluation, development and updating based on the national standards of comprehensive quality management systems.
Department Mission
Distinguished professional preparation and educational, psychological and social qualification for the college graduates and beneficiaries, in a way that supports and develops their professional performance in the labor market, while keeping pace with its future requirements at the local and national levels with distinction and sophistication, based on the college's quality standards and requirements.
Strategic Objectives of the Department of Educational, Psychological and Social Sciences
Based on the vision and mission of the department and based on the vision, mission and goals of the college, the strategic objectives of the department were determined as follows:
First: Educational and educational objectives
1. Educational, psychological and social qualification and preparation for the college graduates and beneficiaries in the scientific specializations at the college.
2. Effective participation with the college administration and its scientific departments in developing and planning scientific programs and curricula that support the professional, scientific, cultural and specialized development of the college graduates who benefit from its educational programs and activities in the fields of educational, psychological and social sciences.
3. Establishing and implementing a comprehensive evaluation system for educational effectiveness and targeted learning outcomes for all educational programs offered by the department in a way that achieves continuous development and modernization.
4. Professional and educational qualification for members of the teaching staff in the department "assistant teachers - teaching assistants" in a way that achieves professional excellence and educational advancement for them in coordination with the college administration and its scientific departments.
Second: Scientific research objectives:-
1. Directing the scientific research plan in the department towards producing modern, distinguished and creative scientific, social and individual research and studies related to the scientific specializations of the faculty members in the department.
2. Effective scientific procedural contribution to solving the problems of the sports community in relation to the specializations of the department.
3. Preparing and qualifying members of the auxiliary educational staff supported by scientific research skills, innovation and initiative to produce a distinguished quality of scientific research in the postgraduate studies stage and beyond.
4. Effective participation with the college administration in developing and updating the regulations and programs of postgraduate studies to support the educational process and to meet the developmental and societal needs in relation to the specializations of the department and the college.
Third: Objectives of community service and environmental development:-
1. Preparing and providing programs and training courses for the beneficiaries of the college in relation to the specializations of the department with the aim of refining their skills, capabilities and personal experiences, which qualifies them to successfully engage in the labor market and keep pace with its future requirements.
2. Contributing to the success of the college's activities and mechanisms towards serving the community and developing the environment to solve the problems that fall within the specializations of the department.
3. Supporting scientific and service communication channels with similar departments and educational, scientific, sports and media bodies and institutions with the aim of providing consultations and exchanging experiences, knowledge and innovative ideas to enhance the college’s goals and its initiative towards serving the community and developing the environment in connection with the department’s specializations.
